Welcome to the OSSRC
The Ohio Social Studies Resource Center (OSSRC) exists to enhance teaching and learning through the identification and posting of quality web-based resources that promote best teaching practices. The OSSRC has made steady progress to create and promote an effective delivery system that provides free access to peer-reviewed resources to all Ohio social studies educators. Twelve partnering agencies presently serve the OSSRC and have exemplified their commitment to working together to improve the teaching and learning resources available to Ohio social studies educators. Their mission is twofold; to ensure that students are armed with the knowledge they need in the global economy to be successful in the work force and higher education, and to endorse the value and importance of social studies education. Please explore the OSSRC to find information about how the Ohio Social Studies Resource Center can help you, along with information about how you can help with the development of the resource center.
